Co-Inpetto began in 1999 as a recruitment cabinet for IT professionals and business consultants. It was founded as a commercial company in a sector that, at the time, required a license to operate—knowledge of Belgian privacy law was part of our accreditation.

From the very beginning, Co-Inpetto treated the correct application of privacy law as more than a compliance issue. It became a cornerstone of process excellence —and a source of inspiration for empowerment and innovation. That innovation naturally extended into the realm of business models, where we saw that real change required more than new tools or technologies: it required a shift in culture, innovation frameworks, ownership logic, asset classes, and governance. That’s why Co-Inpetto became part of a movement that enables systemic change.

At Co-Inpetto, we believe that the renewal of business models thanks to digital can contribute to sustainable prosperity. Co-Inpetto brings that vision into practice with Co-Inpetto Farm and Co-Inpetto Design. With Co-Inpetto Farm, we contribute to the rollout of the Threefold Grid. With Co-Inpetto Design, we initiate projects that generate social, ecological, and financial benefits while contributing to the rollout of a sovereign digital infrastructure. 

Each project is co-created by a group of contributors—individuals with their own data, wallets, and creativity, alongside companies and organizations. Together, they design business models and agree on how income is distributed among all participants. It is the role of Co-Inpetto VZW to act as a mission guardian—to protect the multi-profit purpose of these projects and to accelerate innovation grounded in clear, trust-based agreements. Previous commercial activities of Co-Inpetto are now part of a commercial entity that partakes like other parties in projects.
